An exclusive application available for iPhone, iPad  and Android through which you can consult geo-referenced information about the Exhibition Centre and the city. This year too Bf Servizi mounted the exhibition “Presepi d’Italia” (Italian Christmas cribs), taking place in Palazzo Caprara’s loggia and della Guardia hall until January 15th. It will be possible to appreciate a number of artworks belonging to the Italian tradition and the “White” presepio, an amazing 15 sqm wide crib, with more than 200 shepherds and 100 animals. The mounting of the exhibition, all white coloured and characterised by a smart use of the light, has been designed to highlight any single piece, from the most ancient to the newest one.

Bf Servizi paid the amount of 2.160,97 into the bank account IT80O0306905061100000000567 "Un aiuto subito. Alluvione Levante ligure e Lunigiana" (Help now. Flood in Levante ligure and Lunigiana), the fund-raising promoted by the daily newspaper Il Corriere della Sera and the La7 tv news to help the people stuck by the rough weather in the Levante Ligure and Lunigiana Italian areas. The amount was raised during the five-day Cioccoshow exhibition. The biggest chocolate bar ever, 15m long and 2m thick, winner of the Guinness World Record on the 16th of November, was distributed to whoever made a donation. Two single origin chocolates, Arriba National Superior Ecuador and Repubblica Domenicana Bio, were used to realize the tablet, in order to ensure a high quality homemade product. BF Servizi, the Cioccoshow organizer, acknowledges anyone who contributed so supportively to the successful outcome of this venture.

BF Servizi (BolognaFiere Group), placed first in Kiev on April 5th in the contest organized by UFI concerning the intelligent use of IT solutions, was  awarded in Valencia the 2011 Ufi Operations Award during the 78th UFI convention. The President of BF Servizi Luigi Litardi and the Chief Operations Officer Marko Boscos collected the prize, won thanks to the project "Mobile Enterprise", digitization of the entire value chain of the exhibition services . It is a great teamwork what made BF Servizi and the BolognaFiere group get a great outcome.

After being released for the Apple world, the app is now available on the Android Market. The free Pocket Fair app, provides you with all the geo-referenced information about the fairground: car park indications, service centres, hall maps and details about the exhibitors. Thanks to Pocket Fair, you can best arrange beforehand your stay at any show: you can create a sorted list of favourite exhibitors you would like to meet and then you have the possibility to rate them. Moreover, this app gives you access to all the information about the city of Bologna, from cultural and touristic routes to food and accommodation tips.
